Where is Byre Barn located?

Byre Barn is a luxury barn wedding venue just outside Canterbury in Ash. Hidden away in peaceful countryside, yet within easy reach of London & the South East, it’s the perfect mix of secluded charm & accessible convenience.

Is Byre Barn licensed for civil ceremonies?

Yes! You can exchange your vows right here, as Byre Barn is fully licensed for civil wedding ceremonies. This means you can enjoy your entire day in one stunning countryside setting without the need to travel between venues.

How many guests can Byre Barn accommodate?

We are designed for weddings that are intimate yet full of personality. The barn hosts up to 60 guests for a seated meal, with an additional 20 guests for the evening, creating a welcoming atmosphere for celebrations filled with style & substance.

Can we get married outside at Byre Barn?

Absolutely. Our enchanting Walled Garden is the perfect backdrop for an outdoor ceremony. If the weather is not on your side, our indoor ceremony space offers a romantic alternative.

Do you provide catering?

Yes. Your guests will be treated to seasonal, flavour packed menus created by Chef Matt Sworder & team at The Corner House Kitchen, using the very best produce from Kent’s farms & coastline.

Is there accommodation onsite?

While Byre Barn does not offer overnight accommodation, we do have a luxurious prep lodge complete with natural daylight & a Kentish welcome hamper for your wedding morning preparations. There is also plenty of boutique accommodation nearby for your guests like The Corner House, Canterbury of The Pig Hotel at Bridge.

Are your weddings exclusive use?

Yes. When you book Byre Barn, it is entirely yours for the day. That means full private use of the barn, gardens, & all our amenities.
